A 10-piece bag of Reber Mozart Kugels is my yearly holiday self-indulgenceMar 23, 2007
By Resips These Mozart Kugels are just the most intriguing and delicious of candies. The centers are a lovely hazelnut nougat surrounded with pistachio marzipan on the bottom and almond marzipan on the top. Then the whole goodie is dipped in light chocolate and again in dark chocolate. How wonderful is that? You get a whole different flavor depending on what part of the Kugel you bite into. And they are all fantastic. Indulge yourself.
I've just ordered the Christmas 2007 bag. Can't wait to get it. 12/9/07

top chocolate/pralineSep 18, 2007
By kreisler This is, like all Reber products, very fine chocolate, as described by the other reviewer (pistachio marzipan, hazelnut nougat/praline, dark- and milk chocolate). Not to be confused with other products carrying the name Mozartkugel as well, but not being as tasty (e.g. the Mirabell Mozartkugeln).

I grew up with marzipan and marzipan kugeln. I have always loved them and these were fresh, flavorful and all that they should be. We had to hide them from the neighbor kids because they would sneak them from the counter if we left them out. Order and delivery went very smoothly and arrived in time for christmas despite the late order date.

I hate them, I hate them, I hate them! I can't stand to buy them and eat them all up in one sitting! I hate them and their rich inside and their delicious chocolate! I hate them!
I have very little resistance to those little balls. So if you have a weak will power, don't risk it, they will haunt you and you will always come for more ;) YUM!

Where to find the original Mozartkugel?Dec 29, 2008
By OM Where in the U.S. can one find the real original Mozartkugel products?
By the way, it's a bit odd to call an object a "kugel" when it's flat on one side, as these versions apparently are.
