It was a great blast from the past from my childhood, I loved waking up every morning to open this calendar.

I don't mind paying a premium for the convienence of not having to go to the store to get something, but I was shocked at the price and the shipping on this advent calendar - which I bought for my kids at Kroger for under $2.00 each. It really isn't worth more than $2.00 - tiny pieces of chocolate.

I had the Advent Calendars sent to my grandchildren as a surprise - they loved it! They can't wait to open a window and have a chocolate every day. It arrived in good shape and importantly, on time for them to open the first window on December first.

My son is disappointed with the chocolates in this calendar when compared to his sister's Madelaine chocolates advent calendar. Those are individually wrapped chocolates and look like presents.
