I purchased this as a holiday gift for a family member. Of course the candy is terrific, but what is particularly noteworthy here is the online vendor from whom I purchased the gift -- The Online Candy Shop. Not only was the pricing competitive, but I especially appreciated the personal attention that the owners gave my order. I had a particular request to include a personal note with the bark, which was not an option at purchase thru Amazon. I had asked if my request could be accomodated thru the "Question for Seller" section. The Online Candy Shop telephoned me personally, the same day the order was taken, and offered to hand-write a note for me to include with the gift. These days vendors do not always go the extra mile to treat customers in such a special way, but this vendor did -- and when I order candy online, I will always use them. Highly recommended.

I was so happy to find this on Amazon. I can usually only find it around the holidays. It is a favorite of my husband's so I buy it every year for him (& then proceed to "help" him eat it!). It has rich layers of exactly the right proportion of creamy dark chocolate (that is not too dark) followed by white chocolate (that is not too sweet), topped with peppermint pieces (that are not bitter like some peppermint oil can be).

I bought this at BJ's for 9.99-so the only thing I can fault amazon for is the price. This candy is highly addictive the perfect blend of chocolate and peppermint. My daughter summed it up perfectly when she tasted it "Tastes like christmas" and that's exactly what it taste like. Grab it while it's available.

If you are going to "waist" calories on candy - This Peppermint, DARK chocolate is what to do it on! It's a Holiday staple for us.
